The Edinburgh Art Festival once again brings together an extraordinary range of visual arts exhibitions, events and activities. From Scotland’s National Galleries and Museums, to smaller independent spaces and artist-led initiatives, EAF provides a unique platform from which to take in each organisation’s summer show of 2007.

Using the website you can visit the wealth of artistic content that the city has on offer, from the Dean Gallery’s Picasso on Paper and the National Museum of Scotland’s Picasso Fired with Passion, to Edinburgh Printmakers’ exhibition of work by William Kentridge or The Fruitmarket Gallery’s new work by Alex Hartley. Why not try to take in some of the galleries or artists you don’t know – Nathan Coley (shortlisted for the 2007 Turner Prize) at doggerfisher, Martina Klein at sleeper and Michael Craik at Amber Roome? If you are not sure where to start try our Information Station at Stills to get you orientated.

There is also a large programme of events on offer. If you want to know more about contemporary
art or a particular artist, or feel like having a go yourself pick up a copy of our festival guide, or better yet, ask us for recommendations at the Information Station. We hope you enjoy EAF in all its variety as much as we enjoy joining forces with galleries and artists to offer you more.
