hubCAP hosts CAP1

Earlier this month 4 of our CAP1 Artists presented recent work in the hubCAP gallery. The physical gallery had been closed for over two years and the new programme of events does not start until after the summer so the opportunity arose or the current committee to cut their collective teeth in the space by inviting colleagues to show some work from this year.

Our hubCAP Gallery’s most recent instagram take over artist was former @EdinburghCollege FAD student Rosalind Main who went to study product design at Greys Achool of Art and is curently studying for a MFA in Contemporary Art Practice at Edinburgh College of Art.

Many Hands make Light Work: hubCAP Gallery Takeover.

Last week our very own hubCAP Gallery Committee launched the first in a series of social media takeovers by selected artists / creatives. First up was current Artist In Residence Shareen Sorour who was in charge of the Gallery’s  instagram and twitter feeds for 7 day during which time she shared previous work, current concerns and 2 participatory /collaborative projects.
