A student-run contemporary art gallery based in the heart of Edinburgh College’s Granton Campus aims to offer a varied programme of exhibitions, events and publications providing an inclusive platform for dialogue, learning and community engagement.
hubCAP was founded by Edinburgh College HND Contemporary Art Practice Students in autum 2019 to coincide with the launch of the newly devised Professional Practice and Exhibition Studies element of the course.

The driving philosophy of the gallery project is to provide opportunities for current CAPetc… students to gain valuable experience in the running of a grass roots artist run gallery space and programme.
Run by a rotating independant committee of HND Contemporary Art Practice (CAP) students, mentorship and guidance is provided by lecturers with support from individuals and organisation both internally and external to the college.
Although the physical space currently lies dormant the current committee have run a very succesfull programme of online events including several social media artist take overs and a film commission.
Please visit the hubCAP Gallery Website for further info on current, future and past programme of events.
