Coinciding with the final week of the Lee Miller and Picasso Exhibition at the Scottish National Portrait Gallery in Edinburgh  #AIRetc Artists Julie Duffyand Hayley Matherswill present their collaborative practice inspired by the life and work of Lee Miller. By using the Penrose Collection at the Gallery of Modern Art and drawing from biographies of Miller and her peers, they have built up an image of her life and the context which inspired her photography.

Over the past year, the artists have hosted a series of dinner parties to celebrate her life and discuss her work. The dinners have been inspired by recipes created by Miller and have allowed the artists to share their research.

The talk is free  and will take place at the Hawthornden Lecture Theatre – Gardens Entrance (Scottish National Gallery) Tomorrow 1st Sept 12:45 – 1:30

ECA Degree Show 2015 #CAPetcAlumni

This week it was the turn of Edinburgh College of Art to show off the hard work and creativity of their graduates at the 2015 Degree Show.

Once again there was a fantastic representation of Edinburgh College #CAPalumni work across the fine art disciplines of Painting, Sculpture and Intermedia. Congratulations to them all and we look forward to seeing what happens next after a well earned rest!

Julie Duffy: ‘Rhythmic Structure’ Limited Edition prints

Former AIR Julie Duffy has produced 2 limited edition prints based on her most recent project ‘Rhythmic Structure’ in the Bothy at the Scottish National of Modern Art in Edinburgh.

The prints, one pink and one grey and measuring 56.5cm x 76cm are signed by the artists and limited to an edition of 5 in each colour £65 each.
